We sure hope everyone had a great Easter. We went to church, then for a 20 mile bicycle ride through a FL swamp area, and came home for a ham dinner - just the two of us. Tim was in NY refereeing the Womens College Hockey Championship games (he did this last year). He flew home yesterday and had an Easter meal that Laura made.

We had a great visit with Pastor Jim and his family when they came down to FL 10 days ago. We have been getting lonesome so this helped being with friends. We played cards and had a great supper. We also had them come to our coach so they can see how we live when we are away.

Spring has come here. You would think that with the warm weather you would not notice spring but we do. The grass is starting to grow, the trees have shed their brown leaves and are growing green ones. The Hibiscus are blooming and there is a wonderful fragrance of orange blossoms floating in the air.

We have seen the worst driving here in Florida that we have ever seen. We have seen two fatalities (white sheets are draped over the vehicles). I have never seen a fatality in Minnesota. I always thought the driving was bad in Florida because of all the snowbirds here but that is not true. The people drive way too fast and follow right on your bumper. It is best to just pull to the right and let them pass. The worst thing we have seen so far is a driver going 70 mph and swerving because he was driving with his knees. The reason he was driving with his knees is because he had a cell phone in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

We are working now. Like our costumes? We work in Tomorrow Land at Snitches great escape which encompasses the Astro Orbitor and the Transit Authority tram. There are many positions between these three attractions. We have had three days training so far. We have four more next week. We were not scheduled to work this week because they need everyone to help during Easter and spring break. Even though we are not fully trained we signed up for some extra time this week because they are so swamped. We are trained to transfer strollers to the stroller parking area, give and take Fast Pass tickets and smooze with the guests. It is so much fun to see a little girl dressed like a princess and when we tell her how pretty she is she just glows with pride. The adults are great also. We saw a couple wearing Mickey ears today. His ears were black and hers were white with a white veil. We figured they were just married and they were so happy that someone noticed and approached them and congratulated them. Makes us feel special that they feel special. I think we are going to like this job.
