We are still here!!!

Happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow to you all.

We had another valentine added to our life on January 29^th.  Our 6^th granddaughter, Bricelyn, was born to Tim & Laura.  She weighed 9 lbs. 2 oz.  She was due to be born by cesarean on Feb 1^st but chose her own birthday just like the other two granddaughters did. She is a healthy baby and we thank God every day for that.

Her sisters adore her.

We had some old friend’s visit in January, not old by years but old being that we have known them since our high school years, Dick & Louise.  We had an enjoyable and relaxing visit to Epcot, taking our time seeing things and catching up on each of our lives.  Of all the times Pete and I have been to Disney this was one of the most enjoyable times we have had.  We are planning to visit them in Fort Meyers next month. 

We took our coach down by Fort Lauderdale for a short trip.  We stayed again at the Aztec RV Resort.  You can see pictures of it at www.aztecrvresort.com .  The people in this resort have way too much money. There are fancy cars and fancy golf carts all over.  The RV spots have Tiki hut type shelters with outdoor kitchens and landscaped extremely well.  The park is owned and operated by Canadians.  Most of the people here are Canadians and speak only French which makes it hard to get to know anyone.  We love to go to the beach and they have a NO SMOKING casino nearby which is worth the trip.

We just got back from a 7 day cruise on the Norwegian Dawn. We were with a group from our RV Park (and our dear friends Paul and Sandy) so it was fun to see others we knew while moving around.

We cruised the Western Caribbean.  Our stops were 1. Roatan, Honduras (where we enjoyed the aqua waters, white beaches and even a massage on the beach), 2. Belize (where we toured the town which is very poor but residents are very proud of their town.  The picture is a furniture maker selling quality red mahogany furniture),

3. Costa Maya (where we enjoyed the shopping areas, public pool, dolphin show and another day on the beach),

 

 

4. Cozumel (where we walked up the streets which are very commercialized).  Thank God we were not on the Celebrity cruise that got stranded in the Gulf after their motor burned out.

We are missing our family our family in Spain but enjoying pictures coming to us often. Helena will be 15 in May.   She got her braces off and is now enjoying rubbing her tongue around over her teeth.

Julia will be 10 in March and is growing up to be a beautiful young lady.

Dan & Ana just spent a few days in the Canary Islands and from the pictures it looks like it was a great time. They are starting to plan a trip back to MN in August where we can do any and all that they want to do. It will be up to them.

 

Now I am off to MN on Friday for a two week visit.    Sophia and Aubrey have their joint birthday parties on Saturday and then I will stay with Tim & Laura and help with whatever I can for the rest of the time.  A real Grandma bonding time!  I am sure I will be anxious to get back to the warmer weather of Florida when the time comes.
