Look who we saw at breakfast this morning!!  We told Santa we had been good all year and he promised us a Wonderful Christmas filled with family, friends and blessings.

We are getting ready to go back to Minnesota for 10 days to celebrate Christmas.  The time has really gone by quickly.  We have been working a lot and certainly will enjoy our time off.

We worked on Thanksgiving so had a couple of Thanksgiving dinners to make up for it.  One we had on the 25th at Bob Evans restaurant.  It was very tasty. Then we made a turkey ourselves on the 29th.
It was just OK.  We opted for a smaller turkey with the brand of the grocery store.  It ended up being smaller in everything – flavor, texture and size.  Not the best one we have ever had but probably the worst one we have ever had.   We learned a lesson.  We will try a real turkey when we get back from MN.

We have several dinners with friends and really are thankful we have friends here.

Our friends, Sandy & Paul, gave us the most precious book called” A Special Christmas Blessing Just for You” by Douglas Pagels.  One of the readings in it is “Remember that some of the secret joys of living are not found by rushing from point A to point B, but by slowing down and inventing some imaginary letters along the way”.
We want to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2016.

Love
Mary Lou & Pete
