Thank you Thank You Thank You Patsy!! I can once again change my sidebar items on my blog such as: the books I have read and the movies we have seen lately. YAH YAH!!!

Let’s see now what have we been doing since the end of July.  Routine doctor and dentist checkups (although I did have a dental problem (not a root canal but redoing a root canal) that I finally had taken care of in September.  All is well now.  We visited with friends and kept company with four of our granddaughters.  The picture on the left at my birthday party shows left to right Aubrey (4 1/2), Mary Lou (?), Corri (25 on 12-27), Bricelyn (2 1/2 on Corri's lap) and Sophia (6 1/2). The picture on the right shows Julia (12) on the left and Helena (17) on the right in Vienna.

Luckily Dan sends up pictures of our other two granddaughters so we can keep up with them as well.

In September we had a 50+ reunion put on by Washington High School where we both graduated from. My 50 year was last year so this is 51 years for me and 52 years for Pete.  It is so much fun to see and visit friends.

We helped our Aunt Phyllis celebrate her 90th birthday with a small party given by her children.   It was great to get together for a happy occasion.  Hello Aunt Phyllis!!  I think you and our friend Patsy are the only ones who really read our blog.  Hope you continue to read it.  I forgot I was supposed to stop by and see you before we left.  I will give you a call in a few days.

We stayed in Minnesota until the 5th of October.  The only reason was so we could watch our daughter-in-law, Laura, run the Twin Cities Marathon.  SHE DiD IT!! The whole 26 miles in 4 ½ hours.  Way to go Laura.  Laura worked so hard for the past umpteen months it was great to see her participating and finishing in the marathon.  She was a very dedicated runner.  You could see it on her face.  She passed by our group so quickly I didn't even get a picture of her running.

The next day we left for Florida.  We took 5 days to get here.  We stopped in Le Claire, Iowa to see the store of the American Pickers, called Antique Archaeology.  The owner of the store, Mike Wolfe and his friend Frank Fritz, travel around the US and pick up things that they deal on with the owners.  It looked mostly like junk to me but it was fun to see this store and the one in Nashville, Tennessee.

From there we changed plans because of a hurricane on the East Coast and dropped down to Huntsville, Alabama to Midway, Florida and to Deer Creek our home in Florida.  We had a lot to do with landscaping (Palm trees grow like crazy), cleaning (house and shed were power washed), and uncovering and washing cars and golf cart. It is all fun stuff when we know we will be here until next April.
We started back at Disney in the Mouse Gear Store in Epcot on the 16th of October.  It has been busy in the park because of the Food and Wine Festival going on in Epcot also they have Halloween Parties going on in the Magic Kingdom and people who do not buy the extra ticket come to Epcot when the MK closes at 7 pm for the party.  STAR WARS IS GOING TO BE BIG!!

Hope all is well with everyone.  Love, hugs and kisses!
